The adidas Newcastle United F.C. 2005–06 home shirt is one of the most recognisable kits of the club’s modern era, combining Newcastle’s timeless look with classic adidas styling.

Worn throughout the 2005–06 season, the shirt featured the club’s famous black and white vertical stripes, complemented by black sleeves, adidas’ signature three stripes, and the iconic Northern Rock sponsor across the chest. Managed by Graeme Souness before Glenn Roeder took over, the squad featured stars including Alan Shearer, Michael Owen, Scott Parker, Shay Given, and Kieron Dyer.

The season is particularly remembered as Alan Shearer’s final campaign, during which he became Newcastle United’s all-time leading goalscorer before retiring at the end of the season.
