This shirt captures Manchester United at the end of the 1990s, following the greatest season in the club’s history and during the final years of the iconic Sharp sponsorship.

The design featured a classic red base with a white fold-over polo collar and black zip, while the sleeves carried Umbro’s distinctive black-and-white diamond taping. The Umbro branding, Sharp sponsor and embroidered Manchester United crest completed one of the most recognisable shirts of the era.

The 1999–00 season featured legends including David Beckham, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Jaap Stam and Peter Schmeichel. Having completed the historic treble the previous season, Ferguson’s side entered the campaign as European champions and set about defending their Premier League crown.

United went on to win the Premier League title, finishing 18 points clear of Arsenal, while also lifting the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo. The campaign included memorable performances from Beckham, Yorke and Cole as United continued their extraordinary dominance of English football.
