Liverpool 95/96 Retro Jacket
The iconic Liverpool 1995/96 Adidas retro jacket captures one of the most distinctive periods of 1990s football style, using the green, white and black palette associated with the Reds’ famous away kit from the season.
Liverpool’s 1995/96 away strip was produced by Adidas and featured the same distinctive teal green, white and black combination.
Featuring a bold teal green and black panelled shell, the jacket is finished with oversized white Adidas three stripe detailing across the shoulders and sleeves. The classic Liverpool crest and Adidas branding sit prominently on the chest, while the asymmetric panelling, high collar, zipped pockets and elasticated cuffs and hem give it an unmistakable mid 90s training wear aesthetic.
The 1995/96 season was one of the defining campaigns of the Roy Evans era, with Liverpool finishing third in the Premier League and reaching the FA Cup Final at Wembley. Robbie Fowler enjoyed a remarkable 36 goal season, alongside a squad featuring Steve McManaman, Jamie Redknapp, Stan Collymore, John Barnes and Ian Rush.
The green and white colourway has since become one of Liverpool’s most recognisable 90s designs, with Adidas and the club revisiting the 1995/96 aesthetic in an official Bringback collection.
A proper piece of 90s Anfield nostalgia, from the era of Fowler, McManaman and the famous green and white away colours.
