The 1994–96 third design used a bold green-and-white block pattern with black detailing and adidas three stripes running through the shoulders. Carlsberg completed a look closely associated with Liverpool’s mid-90s generation.

The shirt was worn by Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Jamie Redknapp, Ian Rush and John Barnes. Fowler emerged as one of England’s most feared young strikers during the period, scoring 36 goals in all competitions in 1995/96.
