The adidas Liverpool 2006–08 home shirt is a proper mid-2000s classic, worn during one of the most memorable periods of the club’s modern history.

The shirt featured the traditional red base with white detailing, with adidas’ distinctive styling and the iconic Carlsbergsponsor across the chest. The simple red-and-white colourway gave it a timeless Liverpool look, while the classic adidas design made it instantly recognisable.

It was worn by a squad packed with Liverpool favourites, including Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Xabi Alonso, Luis García, Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Pepe Reina.

The shirt is particularly associated with the 2006–07 season, when Liverpool reached the Champions League Final in Athens, facing AC Milan. Although Milan won the final, the campaign remains an important part of Liverpool’s European history.

Liverpool also lifted the FA Community Shield in 2006, defeating Chelsea at the Millennium Stadium.
