This shirt captures Inter Milan during the club’s first season with Nike, as the Nerazzurri entered the late 90s with one of the most exciting squads in Europe.

The design featured a clean white base, with two slim blue and black horizontal stripes framing the Pirelli sponsor across the chest. A black polo collar with blue trim and matching sleeve detailing completed one of Nike’s earliest and most understated Inter designs.

The 1998–99 season featured an extraordinary collection of talent including Ronaldo, Roberto Baggio, Iván Zamorano, Youri Djorkaeff, Diego Simeone, Javier Zanetti and Clarence Seedorf. Ronaldo was the standout, scoring 14 Serie A goals despite an injury-hit campaign.

Inter finished eighth in Serie A, reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals and made the Champions League quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by eventual winners Manchester United. It was a turbulent season, with Luigi Simoni, Mircea Lucescu and Roy Hodgson all taking charge during the campaign.
