Barcelona 97/98 Kids Away

This shirt captures Barcelona during a fascinating period at the end of the 1990s, as the club assembled a squad packed with world-class talent and attacking flair.

The design featured a striking orange base with blue and red detailing, with the distinctive Kappa branding and Barcelona crest completing the look. The bold colourway offered a dramatic contrast to Barça’s famous blaugrana home stripes while retaining the club’s traditional colours.

The 1997–98 season was packed with stars, including Rivaldo, Luis Figo, Patrick Kluivert, Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Ronald de Boer and Michael Reiziger.

Under Louis van Gaal, Barcelona enjoyed a hugely successful domestic campaign, winning both La Liga and the Copa del Rey. Rivaldo was one of the standout performers, beginning to establish himself as one of the world’s elite attacking players.

A symbol of Van Gaal’s first great Barça side, Rivaldo’s brilliance and the bold football fashion of the late 90s — pure blaugrana retro glory for any Barcelona collector.
