Barcelona 06/07 Kids Away
Iconic Nike orange away shirt featuring blue and red detailing, UNICEF sponsor and embroidered Barça crest.
This shirt captures Barcelona during one of the most spectacular periods in the club’s history, as Frank Rijkaard’s European champions entered the 2006–07 season with a squad overflowing with attacking talent.
The design featured a striking papaya orange base, with blue and red detailing around the V-neck, cuffs and hem. The distinctive Nike branding and Barça crest completed the look, while UNICEF became a historic addition during the season — Barcelona’s first shirt sponsor after 107 years without one.
The 2006–07 season featured an extraordinary collection of talent, including Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o, Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andrés Iniesta, Deco, Carles Puyol, Thierry Henry? Wait—Henry joined in 2007, so the squad instead included Ludovic Giuly, Javier Saviola, Gianluca Zambrotta and Lilian Thuram. Messi was beginning to emerge as a genuine superstar alongside Ronaldinho and Eto’o.
The orange colourway deliberately evoked memories of Barcelona’s 1992 European Cup triumph, making it a particularly meaningful design. Barça lifted the Supercopa de España but finished second in La Liga, while their Champions League defence ended in the group stage.
A symbol of Ronaldinho’s Barcelona, Messi’s emergence and the historic arrival of UNICEF on the Barça shirt — pure mid-2000s Blaugrana glory for any collector.
