The 1997–99 Arsenal away design returned to the club’s traditional yellow but gave it a strong late-90s Nike identity through a wide navy chest band, navy collar and sleeve detailing with red trim.

Its first season became one of the defining campaigns in Arsenal history. Arsène Wenger’s side, featuring Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit, Ian Wright and Nicolas Anelka, won both the Premier League and FA Cup to complete the 1997/98 Double.
