Iconic Nike redcurrant home shirt featuring gold detailing, O2 sponsor and commemorative Highbury crest.

This shirt captures Arsenal during the emotional final season at Highbury, as Arsène Wenger’s side closed one of the most important chapters in the club’s history.

The design featured a distinctive deep redcurrant/burgundy base, inspired by Arsenal’s early shirts when the club first played at Highbury. Gold Nike detailing, the O2 sponsor and the special embroidered Arsenal crest featuring “Highbury 1913–2006” gave the shirt its commemorative character.

The 2005/06 season featured legends including Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires, Cesc Fàbregas, Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Gilberto Silva and Jens Lehmann.

It became one of Arsenal’s most significant modern shirts as the Gunners reached their first Champions League final, defeating Real Madrid, Juventus and Villarreal along the way. The campaign also marked Arsenal’s final season at Highbury, before the move to the Emirates Stadium.
