Commemorative redcurrant-and-gold Nike Arsenal home shirt created for the club’s final season at Highbury.

For 2005/06, Arsenal temporarily moved away from their familiar bright red to a deep redcurrant shade inspired by the club’s early Highbury colours. Nike paired it with gold detailing, the O2 sponsor and a commemorative crest carrying HIGHBURY 1913–2006.

The final Highbury campaign featured Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Cesc Fàbregas, Robin van Persie and Robert Pirès. Arsenal also reached their first Champions League final, while Henry became the club’s record goalscorer during the season and scored a hat-trick in the final competitive match at Highbury.
